To prepare the design for direct digital printing, you can use any graphics program that allows you to save as a bitmap file, for example: *jpg, *jpeg, *tif – with or without minimal compression. This way you can achieve the best quality of the image.
Preferred file formats PDF, PSD, TIFF, JPG, CDR(up to X3).
All fonts converted to curves (PSD, CDR).
The color scheme of the project (color space) CMYK (preferred). Alternatively, printing from the design in RGB* color space is also possible.
JPG files should be saved in the highest quality.
Minimum letter size 4.5pt, in counter 6pt.
(Using letter sizes smaller than the minimum in the design does not ensure that the text can be printed legibly.)
Of course, you can also outsource the design to us.
We accept designs for offset and screen printing on discs in CMYK (Pantone) colors only.
Preferred file formats PDF, EPS, AI (max. CS3), CDR (up to X3), PSD.
All fonts converted to curves (PSD, CDR, AI,, EPS).
Printing specifications for CD-R, DVD-R, DVD5, DVD9 (offset, screen printing)
Print area
inner diameter 22 mm
outer diameter 117 mm
We accept designs for offset and screen printing only in CMYK and Pantone colors. It is not possible to accept designs in RGB colors.
Electronic versions of designs in formats – PDF (max v.8), EPS (max CS3), AI (max CS3), CDR (max v. 12).
All fonts converted to curves.
Please attach an overview file in bitmap (.jpg .tif) or .pdf format.
Minimum letter size 4.5pt, in counter 6pt.
(Using letter sizes smaller than the minimum in the design does not ensure that the text can be printed legibly.)
Screen printing (110 lpi) – up to 4 colors (CMYK or 4x Pantone) + white base
Offset (175 lpi) – maximum of 5 colors (CMYK + 1 Pantone color) + white base
Project size -120 x 120 mm (1417 x 1417 px) – CD/DVD. Resolution 300 dpi.
Imprint area – outer diameter 116 mm, inner diameter 20 mm.
The design is best prepared as a 120 x 120 mm square. The device itself will “trim” the excess graphics and adjust to the printing area on the disc.
The design for direct digital printing can be prepared in any graphics program that allows saving as bitmap files, e.g.: *.tif, *.jpg, *.jpeg, (without or with minimal compression – to get the best image quality).
Preferred file formats PDF, PSD, TIFF, JPG, CDR(up to X3).
All fonts converted to curves.
JPG files should be saved in the highest quality.
Design color scheme (color space) CMYK. In the case of designs supplied in RGB colors (that is, corresponding to the way monitors display colors), the author must realize that they will look different in print. (These designs can be sent by e-mail).
* RGB coloring (appropriate for color display by monitors) does not reflect the actual appearance of colors in print.
